I’m honored to present my first “This is Post-Rock Midweek Feature” with WherePostRockDwells, highlighting the song All This Time by my talented friends and artists From Somewhere Quiet and Adam Dodson.

Their new ambient release felt like the perfect fit for what I needed in this time of distress. I often gravitate toward something more disturbing when it comes yo post-rock, and contrary to popular opinion, I absolutely do appreciate post-rock with vocals, Slint, Swans, Have A Nice Life, etc.

However, I’m also a huge sucker for movie soundtracks—and with this release, I was completely immersed in a soundscape that feels somewhere between Hans Zimmer’s Interstellar and a heartfelt worship song.

I really value the duality in this track—it carries melancholy but still keeps you right on the edge of a hopeful morning.

Adam and I first connected probably close to 5 years ago when we both started releasing music and had always talked about doing a song together. 5 years later we finally made it happen and this is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever released.
